Lg Dryer D80 Error Code But No Blockage (2023 Fixes!)

  • Facebook

  • More

Troubleshooting your dryer becomes a lot easier when you know what to fix and look for. Error codes will blink or get displayed on your dryer screen to indicate any problem.

It is an indication that your appliance is trying to communicate a change in function.

However, If your lg dryer displays d80 code on the screen, it simply means there’s an issue with the exhaust venting system. The exhaust venting duct is poorly installed, obstructed or blocked.

You should then proceed to remove any blockages in the pipe.

What if it keeps showing lg dryer d80 code but no blockage? Even after cleaning up the vent duct, the error code might still appear on the dryer display window panel.

Then you need to check if the dryer is over-sensitive, the exhaust venting duct is constricted, carry out resetting procedures on the dryer or check if the lint trap is clogged.

In this article, I’ll be showing you how to clear the d80 error code on your lg dryer if there is no blockage in the vent hose.

Let’s dive into it.

This error code simply means that there’s an issue with the vent or venting system of your dryer. (Either a blockage or obstruction).

Before we proceed, sometimes you think you have thoroughly cleaned the vent ducts but in reality you haven’t.

Here is how I properly check if there are no blockages triggering the error code.

It is certain that d80, d90 or d95 error codes are displayed due to issues with your dryer venting, obviously because it’s blocked.

If you are 100% sure that your dryer isn’t smelling and the exhaust vent is clean, you can jump to the next section for immediate troubleshooting. If not, continue reading.

Do this thoroughly in order to be certain that there is nothing blocking the vent before trying out our troubleshooting tips to clear the error message.

  • Turn off your dryer and detach the vent hose.
  • Clean the pipe all the way down with a brush.
  • Reattach the dryer vent.

Before you even attempt to start cleaning your dryer vent, you need to disconnect the appliance from the power source.

Turn it off and unplug the power cord. Then you need to detach the dryer vent from the back of your appliance.

You can do this with a screwdriver if you have one at home. It’s simple.

Go outside of your house where the air exhaust hose leads to, find the exterior vent and also get it detached also.

The next step is to clean the vent all the way down and make sure there’s no sign of lints or anything inside.

You can use a dryer vent cleaning kit or brush to do this. A vacuum cleaner is also good for doing this.

It makes your work a lot easier and faster. Ensure that the outdoor vent is also checked and cleaned properly.

You want to clean inside the dryer in case there is a blockage there also. Some homeowners don’t do this and it is also part of the steps.

Finally, reattach the dryer vent hose to the back of your dryer using a screwdriver.

After doing this, wait for a while before reconnecting and restarting your dryer to the power source.

If you do all these correctly, you shouldn’t have any issues with the error codes.

By now you should have carefully inspected the venting system and also be certain that there is no blockage.

What If d80 codes are still showing after you’ve cleaned the vent hose?

Below are the next procedures to carry out in order to finally clear the error message.

  • Reset the dryer.
  • The dryer might be oversensitive.
  • Check if the dryer vent hose is squeezed or constricted.
  • The lint trap might be clogged.
  • Reduce the length of the exhaust venting duct.
  • Replace the exhaust vent duct.
  • Reach out to the manufacturer

This is one of the first things you should do instantly. If the lg dryer d80 error code still persists, try resetting the appliance by removing it from the wall outlet.

Wait for at least 10 to 15 minutes before plugging it back and testing if the code is gone. If it still appears, try the next method.

Another reason why your dryer keeps displaying d80, d90 or d95 error codes is probably because the vent hose is too tight and constricted.

A constricted dryer vent could start to overheat and lead to a spark or fire outbreak.

Most of the time, the exhaust vent gets tight and constricted if it’s too long.

If your dryer vent goes up in the attic and out through the roof, go into the attic and disconnect the duct from the vent in the roof.

What you might find out is a screen before the vent might have been blocked by lints which you probably don’t know.

Once you remove these lints at the external vent interface, the error message will probably go away.

You might not notice that the lint filter is jammed with lint.

All that is required of you is to remove the lint screen and clean up all the lint that’s there before washing and attaching it back.

This is exactly what I was talking about. An exhaust venting duct which is too long would not be of any benefit to your dryer.

A constricted venting duct will always prevent the proper flow of air and other materials via the duct.

Try to reduce the length, it might be a reason why the appliance is still detecting a blockage in the vents.

The exhaust vent hose might need to be replaced at a particular point if you keep

having issues with it.

It is also another reason why your lg dryer keeps showing the code.

But before you get a replacement, try removing the vent hose and running the machine for a few minutes to see if the error goes away.

The dryer has been programmed to detect whenever there’s an issue with the venting system.

It gets shut down in order to prevent a fire outbreak in the household.

Sometimes it gets over sensitive that it detects even a slight object in the vent hose.

What you need to do in this case is to clear the lg dryer code d80 from the display panel.

To clear the persistent error code, you need to press some buttons on the dryer in a specific sequence.

Follow the step-by-step procedures below.

  • Reboot your dryer by turning it off for a while then turn it back on.
  • Quickly press and hold “Time dry” and “Signal” buttons at the same time for 5 seconds.
  • An “OFF” display will appear on your screen. This means that the d80 error code has been deactivated.

Most dryer models support this feature but might need to press and hold different buttons. You can check the table below to see if your lg dryer can also perform this below.

Lg dryer models Buttons to press and hold
DLE30*/DLG30* Time dry and signal buttons.
DLE34*/DL34* Time dry and wrinkle care buttons.
DLE35*/DLG35* Time dry and signal buttons.
DLE36*/DLG36* Time dry & wrinkle care buttons.
DLEX37*/DLGX37* Time dry and signal buttons.
DLEX38*/DLGX38* Time dry and signal buttons.
DLEX42*/DLGX42* Time dry and signal buttons.
DLEX48*/DLGX48* Time dry and signal buttons.
DLEX89*/DLGX89* Turbo steam and less time.

If you don’t find a model number similar to yours here, attempt using any of the buttons above.

Get in touch or contact the manufacturer of the dryer if this issue keeps occuring.

Whenever there’s a restriction from the appliance exhaust system, the flow sense warning gets triggered in order t help fix and avoid ineffective performance.

The reason why your dryer keeps saying flow sense is due to a blockage in the air filter lint or ductwork.

In order to fix this, you need to remove the lints that’s obstructing the passage.

If your your lg dryer flow sensor is still activated but there’s no blockage, then you should reset the appliance.

To reset the dryer, power it off. Then press the Start button for a minimum of 5 second before restoring power to the dryer.

Finally, if you are experiencing lg dryer d90 code but no blockage it’s possible that the vent ducts gets blocked if there is an excessive accumulation of lints and moisture.

Materials that are highly flammable do get stuck blocking the vent pipe, and this can result in a fire outbreak.

With the detailed guide above, you should be able to clear the code easily.

Kenmore Washer Stuck On Sensing (Fixed)

  • Facebook
  • X (Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • More

Is your kenmore washer stuck on sensing and you’ve probably been trying to figure out ways to solve this but don’t know how?

I’m glad that you are here to find an extensive answer to your problem.

The main causes of this problem is due to a clogged drain pump, damaged control panel, excess loads in the washer, faulty shift actuator and a malfunctioning sensor switch.

In this article, we’ll be highlighting how to address this problem within reaching out to a repairman.

Now onto the main point, let’s proceed into some other reasons why your washer could be getting stuck on sensing and the ways to troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Faulty water inlet valve.
  2. The drain pump is clogged.
  3. Not resetting the washer.
  4. Faulty washer shift actuator.
  5. Not closing the kenmore washer lid.
  6. Damaged control panel or board
  7. Too much loads in the washer.
  8. A malfunctioning sensing button or switch.

So the washer is probably stuck because of a faulty water inlet valve.

The water inlet valve really carries out some important duties associated with the proper functioning of a washing machine, which is why a slight fault can really affect the appliance and issues like this are likely to come up.

This inlet valve controls the flow of both hot and cold water as it connects the washer with two water hoses.

If this component is bad or blocked, you have to replace or clean it in order to restore full water flow.

But how do you know the root of your problem is the inlet valve? You can only do this by detaching the panel of the washer.

  • It is a very simple procedure to remove the head of the washer, all that is required is a tool you can use to screw (You have to undo the top screws at the back of the appliance).
  • After you must have removed this part of the washer and had access to the water valves. Use a multimeter to test the continuity of each of the hot water and cold water valves (inlet valve solenoids) to detect if they’re burned out or not.
  • You should see a reading on the continuity and if you don’t see any, that means the water valves need a replacement.
  • You can get a new water inlet valve at Ebay, it’s so easy for me to do. You should be able to do it also.
  • Make sure that you inspect the valve for blockages also before replacing. Pull it out with a needle nose pliers and clean it, sometimes you might not need to replace the valve if the issue stops after you’ve cleaned the valve.

One of the main causes why your kenmore washer gets stuck on sensing is due to a clogged drain pump. It usually happens when there is presence of dirt in the drain pump.

All you need to do is check if the drain pump is clogged by removing it from the back of your washer.

Remove any clogs you find in the pump, make sure it is clean and attach it back to the back of the washer.

Another reason why your kenmore washer could get stuck on sensing is probably because of an error that occurred during a cycle.

There is a way for you to clear this miscalculation and start all over again from the beginning. I can remember that I actually tried this method on my washer when the sensing problem began.

  • The procedure that needs to be carried out is resetting your washer.
  • All you have to do is turn off your washer by unplugging it from the wall outlet. You might have to wait for a few seconds before plugging it back in.
  • After plugging the washer back into the wall outlet, fully open and close the lid of the appliance for a minimum of 6 times.
  • Following this process, start another cycle and check if the washer is still not moving past sensing.

You probably have been trying to figure out why the lid of my washer could affect the functioning of the application. The answer to this is YES!, most cycles won’t be properly authorized if the lid is not closed.

It is recommended that you always close to the top of your washer in order to avoid any washing issues. You can proceed to inspect your washer by checking if the lid was slightly opened during a cycle.

Ensure that it is closed properly and start all over again. Your kenmore washer should go past sensing after doing this.

Another clear reason why you might be havilland issues with your washer regarding the sensing is probably due to a faulty control panel.

All main commands and authorizations are carried out on the main control board. If a slight underperformance is detected, it could affect some main parts of the component which includes the sensing.

Therefore, you should get another control panel or board if this is the root of the issue. However, I didn’t have to replace my ge’s control panel.

That obviously wasn’t the cause of my sensing problem.

I only had issues with the inlet valves when my washer was stuck on sensing. However, if your control panel is damaged, you have no other choice but to get it replaced.

The shift actuator is a very important part of a centennial washer as it is responsible for shifting the function of a washing machine to another.

Note that if this shift actuator is faulty, your washer might be stuck on sensing mode without proceeding to the next phase.

  • It might not be easy, but you need to replace the shift actuator if it is damaged.
  • Ensure that you purchase the correct actuator for your specific model, you can get one on Amazon.
  • In addition to this, there are several video tutorials you can watch on youtube to guide you on how to replace your washer shift actuator.

Without a doubt, there are lots of issues attached to putting too many excess loads in your washer and sensing getting stuck is one of them.

You need to ensure there aren’t too many loads In the washer and it should have the basic optimal load size.

After reducing the excessive loads, try to restart your washer and the issue should get solved with this method or try others below.

Take note of that sensing switch or sensor that keeps blinking with proceeding to the next phase. It might be stuck because it is damaged or faulty.

Most of the time, this sensor hardly gets damaged despite having used your washer for several years.

Even if you reach out to a repairer, this could be the last spot he’d even think of troubleshooting.

This should not exclude the fact that the sensing button doesn’t get damaged. It is also among the reasons why your washer is stuck on sensing.

Note: If your kenmore washer is still under warranty, you might not want to work on it but instead call the attention of the company in order not to void the warranty.

In order to reset a kenmore sensor washer, what you need to do is unplug the washer from the wall outlet. Make sure that appliance is calm while waiting for 5 to 10 minutes. Then plug it back in, that should reset the kenmore washer.

You can actually fix these problems yourself without having to pay a huge amount of money to repairmen or purchase a new one.

With the help of the well organized content above, you should be able to re-calibrate the appliance (washer).

Most times, numerous breakdown issues seem to appear while using your appliances if not properly maintained. I hope with the step-by-step guide above, you should be able to fix kenmore washer stuck on sensing problems.

20 DIY Cat Tower Ideas – Nerd In The House

  • More

As a cat lover, I know how important it is to give my feline friend a space of their own. A cat tower provides a place to climb, scratch, and lounge, keeping my kitty entertained and happy.

Instead of buying an expensive one, I love making my own with affordable materials like wood, cardboard, PVC pipes, and sisal rope.

Here are 20 DIY cat tower ideas to create the perfect playground for my furry companion!

A simple wooden structure with multiple platforms gives my cat plenty of climbing opportunities. I use plywood and sturdy posts, then cover the surfaces with soft fabric or carpet for extra comfort.

Using PVC pipes and wooden boards, I can create a lightweight yet durable cat tower. I wrap the pipes in sisal rope for scratching and add cozy cushions on the platforms.

Instead of taking up floor space, I install wooden shelves in a staggered pattern along the wall. This allows my cat to jump from one to another, creating a fun climbing experience.

An old bookshelf can easily be transformed into a cat tower by adding soft bedding, carpeted platforms, and some scratching posts. It’s a great way to reuse furniture I already have.

I take an old wooden ladder and turn it into a fun climbing structure by attaching small platforms and wrapping the steps with sisal rope. It’s simple, stylish, and functional.

For a more natural look, I use a sturdy tree branch as the main support for the tower. I attach platforms at different heights and wrap parts of the branch in sisal rope for scratching.

Stacking wooden crates in a fun arrangement creates a unique cat tower with built-in hiding spots. I secure them together, add cushions inside, and cut small entry holes for extra playfulness.

Floating shelves arranged at varying heights give my cat a climbing wall experience. I make sure to install them securely and add non-slip padding for safety.

Using large cardboard or carpet tubes, I create a tunnel-style cat tower with multiple entry points. This design is lightweight and great for playful cats that love to explore.

I modify IKEA furniture like the Kallax shelf or Lack tables to create a modern and stylish cat tower. I add fabric hammocks, scratching posts, and cozy beds for extra comfort.

A combination of enclosed cubbies and open platforms creates a fun tower where my cat can either lounge or hide. I build it using wood or repurpose old cabinets for a custom look.

For an adventurous touch, I attach a small bridge made from wooden slats and rope between two sections of the cat tower. It gives my cat a fun way to move between platforms.

For cats that love to climb high, I build a tall tower that extends all the way to the ceiling. I secure it with a tension rod and add multiple levels for endless exploration.

I incorporate a fabric hammock between two sturdy supports in the cat tower. This gives my cat a cozy place to lounge and nap in style.

I wrap cylindrical posts in green sisal rope to create a cactus-inspired design. It’s a cute and functional piece that blends well with my home décor.

By removing some drawers from an old dresser, I create open platforms and cozy hideouts. It’s a great way to give new life to furniture while keeping my cat entertained.

A wooden teepee frame with soft fabric draped over it creates a cozy and stylish cat tower. I add small platforms inside for climbing and a cushion at the base for naps.

If I have limited space, a corner cat tower is a perfect solution. I design a triangular structure with stacked platforms that fit neatly in any room without taking up too much space.

For cats that enjoy the fresh air, I build a weather-resistant tower using treated wood and wire mesh. This lets my cat climb safely while enjoying the outdoors.

I attach dangling toys, feather wands, and even small tunnels to my cat tower to keep my kitty entertained for hours. This makes it a play station and scratching post all in one!

Building a DIY cat tower is not only fun, but it also saves money and allows me to customize it to fit my home and my cat’s personality. Whether I go for a simple design or a multi-level adventure zone, my furry friend is sure to love it! 🐾

How To Decorate Around A TV (18 Gorgeous Decor Ideas) – Nerd In The House

  • Facebook
  • X (Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • More

Television has evolved from a simple entertainment device into a focal point in our living spaces.

Integrating a TV into your home décor can be a challenge, especially if you want it to blend seamlessly with your aesthetic.

Let me share some creative and unique ways to decorate around your TV that go beyond the typical console table and wall mount setup.

One of my favorite approaches is creating a gallery wall around the TV. Mix framed photos, artwork, and decorative pieces to draw attention away from the screen. This not only adds personality to your space but also makes the TV part of a larger visual narrative.

Built-in shelves provide a sleek and functional frame for your TV. They offer ample space for books, plants, and decorative items, turning your TV wall into a multifunctional area. Plus, the custom look adds a touch of sophistication.

A floating console beneath your TV can give the illusion of more space. Choose a design that complements your room’s style, and use it to store electronics, DVDs, or even display a few choice décor items.

Installing decorative wall panels behind your TV can make a bold statement. Whether you opt for wood, metal, or fabric, panels add texture and depth, making your TV area a standout feature.

Give your TV the look of a piece of art with a custom frame. Many companies offer frames designed specifically for flat screens, or you can get creative and make one yourself. It’s a great way to disguise your TV when it’s not in use.

Accent lighting, such as LED strips behind the TV or sconces on either side, can enhance the viewing experience and add ambiance to the room. The soft glow helps reduce eye strain and adds a touch of drama to your TV setup.

Surround your TV with bookshelves filled with your favorite reads and decorative items. This approach turns your TV into part of a larger entertainment center and can make your space feel cozy and inviting.

If you have the space, consider placing your TV above a fireplace. This classic combination creates a central focal point in the room, combining warmth and entertainment in one spot.

Adding decorative molding around your TV can give it a more integrated look. Whether you go for a traditional or modern style, molding helps the TV blend in with the rest of the room’s décor.

A bold, patterned wallpaper behind your TV can distract from the screen when it’s off and add a pop of color or texture to your room. Choose a design that complements your overall theme and ties the space together.

Utilize your TV’s screensaver function to display digital art or family photos when not in use. This turns your TV into a dynamic piece of art, seamlessly blending into your décor.

Consider installing sliding panels that can cover your TV when it’s not in use. These can be painted or designed to match the room’s aesthetic, effectively hiding the TV and creating a clean, uncluttered look.

A clever way to decorate around your TV is by using mirrors. They can be placed on either side or around the TV to reflect light and create the illusion of a larger space. Plus, they add an element of elegance.

Adding plants around your TV can bring a touch of nature into your living space. Use tall plants on either side or small potted ones on a console to soften the look and make the area feel more lively.

Pair your TV with a statement piece of furniture. This could be a unique console table, a vintage cabinet, or even a stylish credenza. It draws attention and makes the TV area feel more curated and intentional.

Incorporate a mix of textures around your TV, such as a woven basket, a plush rug, or metal accents. This adds depth and interest to the space, making the TV less of a focal point and more part of a harmonious design.

Surround your TV with an art installation, like a wall sculpture or a collection of plates. This creates a visually engaging backdrop that can make the TV feel like just another element of your décor.

Coordinate the color scheme of the items around your TV with the rest of your room. This can be done with throws, cushions, and other accessories that tie in with the TV area, creating a cohesive and balanced look.

How To Remove Tough Shower Stains – Nerd In The House

  • Facebook

My daughter’s roomies recently moved out of the room, they left the room totally disoriented and the condition of the shower was so bad that we initially thought of suing her roommates. But that won’t be a nice thing to do, would it? (lol).

We had to come up with a solution to get rid of the stain without damaging the bathroom surfaces and tiles. To be honest, i actually don’t know how the tiles and grout are still so clean while the floor is extremely rotten. But, it’s a good thing actually, so i can pay full attention to the bottom surfaces of the shower.

Here are the methods that worked for us below.

  1. Using Bar Keepers Friend
  2. Using an Oven cleaner and a magic eraser got it spotless. Then treated it with carnauba wax.
  3. Using Baking soda + Vinegar + Hot water

I made some enquiries about this product online and from some folks i know personally and they testified that this method works magic. We decided to use it and it was just as they said. You must have used Bar Keepers Friend to clean a scorched pan once without knowing it also works for other stuffs too.

It’s actually a versatile cleaning product known for its effectiveness in removing tough stains, rust, and grime. Here’s how we used it effectively.

  1. Begin by wetting the surface of the shower.
  2. Then sprinkle BKF powder directly onto the dirty areas of the shower and allow it to sit for a few hours. Generally, the manufacturers recommend not to leave for longer than ONE MINUTE. But that’s for metal surfaces , plastic or porcelain. In our case, we let it sit for several hours – you can even leave it overnight if you want.
  3. Next, use a strong plastic scrub brush or electric scrubber to scrub the surface thoroughly.
  4. Rinse the shower thoroughly with water to remove all traces of the cleaner.

The dirty stains came off after doing this!

TIP: Don’t be a Mixologist! lol Don’t mix BKF with any other product like bleach or ammonia as this can create toxic fumes which could be very dangerous.

Yes! This is another method that works too, it now boils down to you to choose the one that works best depending on your situation and degree of stain. Oven cleaner is a powerful degreaser that can effectively remove built-up grime and grease from surfaces. Follow the simplified steps below.

  1. Just spray the oven cleaner onto the dirty areas of the shower, ensuring thorough coverage. We used regular easy-off heavy duty oven cleaner, you can get one for cheap on amazon.
  2. Allow the cleaner to sit for some hours.
  3. Use a magic eraser or scrubbing pad to gently scrub the surfaces, focusing on stubborn stains and grime.
  4. Rinse the shower thoroughly with water to remove all traces of the cleaner.
  5. Once the shower is clean and dry, treat with carnauba wax using an applicator pad. Buff the waxed surface with a soft cloth to achieve a glossy shine.

Your shower should be looking sparkling clean, people might even think you replaced it.

Hot water spray for a good long time to soften up all the gunk. Bleach to kill anything and everything. And then a paste made from dish soap and baking soda for scrubbing.

Dish soap is really good at cutting through gunk and soap scum. The baking soda just helps add abrasion. Generally, you want to start from the top and work your way down, but maybe deal with the drain first.

These are the tips and methods that helped us get rid of the shower stains! Do you any other tips or methods you use? Kindly share them with us please.

6 Ways To Fix Amana Washer Stuck On Sensing Fill

Have you struggled to come up with a way to fix your amana washer that is stuck on sensing fill? If your answer to this is no, then you are definitely at the right page to get your problem solved.

The most likely reasons why your washer is not progressing from sensing fill is either because the load sensor is bad, a faulty washer shift actuator, a damaged main board or control panel, or issues with the water inlet valves.

I single handedly solved this issue right at the comfort of my home without having to reach out to a repairman.

Basically, you can also follow the procedures I implemented and I assure you the problem will get fixed in no time..

In this section, I will be taking you through how I actually detected the exact issue that is causing my washer to get stuck in this mode.

You will also be able to figure out how to fix the same issue on your own amana washing machine just like I did.

Now onto the main point, let’s proceed into some other reasons why your washer could be getting stuck on sensing fill and the ways to troubleshoot the issue.

  1. A faulty water inlet valve.
  2. Not resetting the washer.
  3. Not closing the amana washer lid.
  4. A damaged control panel or board
  5. Too much loads in the washer
  6. A malfunctioning sensing fill button or switch

So the washer is probably stuck because of a faulty water inlet valve. The water inlet valve really carries out some important duties associated with the proper functioning of an amana washer, which is why a slight fault can really affect your machine and issues like this are likely to come up.

You should be able to do it also as long as you know your model.
  • Make sure that you inspect the valve for blockages also before replacing. Pull it out with a needle nose pliers and clean it, sometimes you might not need to replace the valve if the issue stops after you’ve cleaned the valve.

Another reason why your amana washer could get stuck on sensing fill is probably because of an error that occurred during a cycle.

  • Following this process, start another cycle and check if the washer is still not moving past sensing fill.

Your amana washer should go past sensing fill after doing this.

Another clear reason why you might be havilland issues with your washer regarding the sensing fill is probably due to a faulty control panel.

All main commands and authorizations are carried out on the main control board. If a slight underperformance is detected, it could affect some main parts of the component which includes the sensing fill.

Therefore, you should get another control panel or board if this is the root of the issue. However, I didn’t have to replace my amana washer’s control panel.

That obviously wasn’t the cause of my sensing fill problem.

I only had issues with the inlet valves when my washer was stuck on sensing. However, if your control panel is damaged, you have no other choice but to get it replaced.

Without a doubt, there are lots of issues attached to putting too many excess loads in your washer and sensing fill getting stuck is one of them.

You need to ensure there aren’t too many loads In the washer and it should have the basic optimal load size.

After reducing the excessive loads, try to restart your washer and the issue should get solved with this method or try others below.

Take note of that sensing fill switch or sensor that keeps blinking with proceeding to the next phase. It might be stuck because it is damaged or faulty.

Most of the time, this sensor hardly gets damaged despite having used your washer for several years.

Even if you reach out to a repairer, this could be the last spot he’d even think of troubleshooting.

This should not exclude the fact that the sensing fill button doesn’t get damaged. It is also among the reasons why your washer is stuck on sensing.

Another recommended troubleshooting tip is to activate the diagnostic mode in order to get error codes to detect the issue.

  • First and foremost, unplug the washer and plug it back in.
  • Spin dial around one time and stop at ‘normal‘. Make sure you then follow the sequence of turning the knob one click left so that it points at ‘heavy‘, then one right back at ‘normal’, one right, another one right, one left, then finally right (‘delicate’).
  • Lights will begin to flash, then do two more turns clockwise and press start.

These days, inflation rates are really high and you don’t really want to go out there to get a new washing machine when the one at home is faulty.

You can actually fix these problems yourself without having to pay a huge amount of money to repairmen or purchase a new one.

Most times, numerous breakdown issues seem to appear while using your appliances if not properly maintained. I hope with the step-by-step guide above, you should be able to fix amana washer stuck on sensing fill.
