How To Hide Dryer Vent Hose – 6 Creative Techniques – Nerd In The House

  • Facebook
  • X (Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • More

Making your laundry room look better is one of the creative things you should be looking forward to doing right now.

Hiding your dryer vent hose is actually a way to make room for space and offer lighter work.

To do this, you don’t really need to put in a lot of strenuous work as I’ll be showing you some of the ways to easily hide a dryer vent hose.

Some of the easy and effective ways to do this includes making use of a curtain, hiding the hose in a cabinet, using a strong pvc pipe and many more.

In addition to this, there are actually some risks and precautions attached to hiding the hose which you need to be aware of.

Knowing this will prevent any future dangers that could occur. Don’t worry, I’ll be highlighting the safety precautions below.

There are some 6 methods you can possibly apply while trying to do this. Some of these techniques might obviously cost you a little amount of money, but it’s worth it if you really desire a perfect style.

I will be mentioning the cost-free and easiest ones first before moving to the ones that might be a few bucks.

Ways To Hide The Hose Short Description.
Hide it behind a curtain. Simple and cost-free.
Hide the hose in a cabinet. Easy and really creative.
Using a strong PVC pipe. Requires less effort and it’s really effective.
Installing a dryer vent box. Requires installments and it’s cheap.
Hide it in a faux wood beam. Easy but requires a few bucks.
Using a slatted wood panel. Construct one or purchase online.

Without a doubt, this is one of the easiest techniques you can apply even if you are not experienced at all.

All you have to do is get some pair of curtains or you can literally use anyone you have at home.

Better still, just attach curtains behind the dryer and ensure that it covers the dryer vent hose properly.

Perhaps you have your own dryer installed in the laundry room, you might want to move it somewhere with curtains or simply install a curtain rod.

You want to make sure that there is space between the curtain and the vent hose.

You shouldn’t allow the curtain to come in contact with the vent hose in a tight space.

This is the reason why it’s recommended that you attach the curtain to the ceiling or any upper interior surface of the laundry room. As long as it isn’t touching the vent hose.

Another benefit of using a curtain is you can easily detach it whenever you want to clean the dryer vent hose or any other part of the appliance.

Using a cabinet or a cupboard with shelves is another creative way of keeping your vent hose out of sight.

If you have an already constructed cabinet in your laundry room, you can easily drill a perfectly sized hole to fit in the vent hose without getting it exposed.

You can easily cut through the cabinet with a few working tools at home. Just ensure that there isn’t excess space in-between.

However, if you don’t already have a cabinet in the laundry room you can decide to build one yourself.

Measure the size of the plywood you want to use and take note of the space where the cabinet would be installed.

Using a cabinet serves as additional storage space for your other laundry material.

Instead of building a cabinet or hiding the dryer vent hose behind a cabinet, you can simply purchase a dryer vent hose box to put it out of sight.

It is not a difficult method to pull off as it only requires paying a few bucks for the dryer vent box and you can install it yourself.

This method has a lot of benefits and advantages which includes creating space in your laundry room, hiding the vent hose and protecting the hose itself.

There are also different available types which include a plastic vent box or a metal in-wall dryer vent box. You can even decide to paint it in order to suit your taste.

You can also easily afford to push the appliance closer to the wall with this technique.

It’s a little bit challenging to hide a dryer vent hose due to their large sizes.

Using a perfectly fitted pvc pipe is quite easier than some of the aforementioned methods above.

Find a very compatible pvc pipe and get it attached to the vent, it literally keeps the hose a little further away from sight.

If you don’t wanna try this, there are a few more techniques you can attempt below.

This technique is similar to building a false wall to cover the dryer vent hose.

Slatted wood panels literally have some kind of insulating capacity which will help your home stay cool and cozy.

So it’s another very wonderful method to utilize. All you have to do is purchase slat wood panels and the size and quantity should depend on where you’re going to install it.

Just like the curtain method, you need to make sure that there’s a little bit of space between the vent hose and the wood slat panel.

All you have to do next is to install the slatted wood panels appropriately. Note that these wood panels are very beneficial for hanging items of your choice.

Aside from the fact that faux wood beams are normally used for creating unique geometric patterns and others, you can also use it to your advantage by installing it to keep your vent hose hidden.

It is literally made available in different kinds of sizes and textures to suit your taste. You might need to purchase it with a few bucks but it’s quite easy to install.

I’ve made mention of this several times in this article. You need to be aware that your dryer gets hot quite a lot of time although it might depend on the brand.

While hiding the appliance and making your home comfortable, you need to avoid making it difficult for the dryer to properly vent out dirts.

So you need to avoid too tight spaces and over twisted vent hose in order not to obstruct the flow of air.

We’ve highlighted the list of ways which you can easily hide dryer vent hose in the article above. You can easily do some of these without having to buy or construct any stuff.

Here are the main points you should remember if you’re going to get your appliance vent hose hidden as soon as possible.

  • Use a cabinet or furniture with shelves.
  • A dryer vent hose box will be really helpful.
  • Install a strong pvc pipe.
  • Hang a slatted wood panel.
  • Use a faux wood beam.
  • Get a curtain to cover the hose.

10 Amazing Tricks With WD-40 That EVERYONE Should Know – Nerd In The House

  • Facebook
  • X (Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • More

WD-40 is used in most households in the country and you can’t even deny that you haven’t used it before, unless maybe you lived in the outskirts or probably in the woods. lol.

Anyways, I’ve been using this penetrating lubricants for quite a while now and I’ve compiled a list if tricks and things you can use this oil to do, mostly at home.

If you spray WD-40 lubricant on gum stuck to surfaces like carpets, rugs, or shoes. It helps loosen the gum’s grip, making it easier to remove.

The solvent properties is what helps breaks down the sticky residue of the gum.

Simply spray a small amount of WD-40 onto the gum, wait a few minutes for it to penetrate, and then gently scrape or wipe away the gum.

It can be effective for lubricating and loosening squeaky hinges. It’s a versatile product known for its ability to displace moisture, penetrate rust, and lubricate moving parts.

When applying WD-40 to a squeaky hinge, spray a small amount directly onto the hinge, then move the hinge back and forth to work the lubricant into the mechanism.

This should help eliminate the squeakiness, noise and friction.

Use WD-40 to clean grease and grime off of tools. Its solvent properties help dissolve tough residues, leaving your tools clean and shiny.

If you’ve got some tools that somehow looks rusty, corroded or damaged, using WD-40 lubricant would help decrease the rustiness and prolong the life of those tools.

Its water-displacing formula creates a protective barrier against moisture.

All you need to do is spray WD-40 on stickers and labels to loosen the adhesive.

You’d be surprised at what happens, applying the lubricant makes it easier to peel them off without leaving sticky residue behind.

If you have a bike or bicycle and the chains are stiff or stuck, you can use this oil to loosen them.

Apply WD-40 the chains to lubricate and protect them from rust. It also helps improve chain flexibility and smoothness.

If a zipper is stuck, spray WD-40 along the zipper track and gently move the slider back and forth. The lubricant helps free up the stuck zipper.

Another thing to do is to polish stainless steel surfaces with WD-40 to remove fingerprints and smudges.

It leaves behind a protective coating that repels water and stains. You’ll notice that the steel starts to shine and look even brighter than ever.

Spraying WD-40 on rusty nuts and bolts to help loosen them. Its penetrating formula seeps into the threads, making it easier to remove stubborn fasteners.

I discovered that when i coat my garden tools with WD-40, it actually protect them from rust and corrosion.

It also helps keep dirt and moisture from sticking to the metal surfaces. So you can see that it removes rust from items and protects tools from getting rust.

Most people don’t actually know this, but with WD-40 lubricant, you can really start a fire and burn something in the rain.

I tested this by tearing a small piece of cotton wool and placing it on a plate. I sprayed some of this lubricant onto the cotton wool and light it with fire.

I noticed that after lighting the wool (already soaked with WD-40), adding dripping water unto the burning cotton wool didn’t put the fire out.

This means that you can actually burn something in the rain using WD-40 oil.

WD-40 cleans grease, grime, tar, adhesives, gum, tape, crayon, scuff marks, water deposits.

If you know any other tricks or things that can be done with WD-40, share it with us in the comment.

Washing Machine Water Valve (Updated Info)

  • Facebook
  • X (Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • More

Do you currently have a rusty or corroded washing machine valve that’s literally leaking, difficult to turn or not closing all the way?

Regardless of the exact diagnosis, it is obviously not ideal to ignore a corroding washer valves until it begins to affect the proper functioning of your washing machine.

The main reason why your water valve is corroded is probably due to situations whereby it gets in contact with water, mineral build-up, humidity, age or the environmental conditions of its location.

In this article, we’ll be highlighting extensive information concerning the steps to take in order to fix a corroded washing machine valve.

In addition to the reasons why it got corroded and ways to prevent this occurrence and many more.

I had a washing machine whose valve was effectively fused to the valve’s threading, it wasn’t even turning or bulging at all.

Eventually, I was able to figure out the reasons why it got corroded as I was aware of what to look out for next time.

Some of the things you might be experiencing in situations like this include having difficulty turning the valve, water continuously dripping out from the tip of the valves and many more.

Here are the main reasons why your washing machine water valve might have been corroded.

  • The washer valves are being exposed to direct water and air.
  • It is probably old, mismanaged and malfunctioning.
  • Excess bacteria has accumulated on top of the valves.
  • It’s not properly cleaned and filled with dirts.

The washing machine water supply valve might start to rust or corrode when it gets in contact with water.

These are metals we’re talking about here, when you ignore a leaking valve it proceeds to the extent that it results in a corroded metal and gets stuck.

Unless you are an homeowner that always maintains every single aspect of your washing machine, you are very unlikely to instantly notice leaks in the valves.

However, you need to be able to detect even the slightest water drop in your washing machine valve.

A corroded washer valve might require a little effort to fix or even replace if it eventually gets to this stage.

Another possible cause of a valve that has been affected by corrosion is the chemical reactions between the metal and bacteria.

Without a doubt a long-serving washing machine would definitely have a little bit of dirt on it.

When an excessive amount of dirt and bacteria gets attached to the machine valves, that’s when you begin to notice some powdery substance on it which is definitely a sign of corrosion.

Generally, the age factor is very common for all appliances that’s used in most households. An old washer is bound to experience faults regularly if not properly maintained.

A corroded washing machine water supply valve can also be triggered by the number of years you might have been using it.

Unless you have a recently purchased washer, corrosion should be less of a concern to you.

As time goes on, these valves wear out and fail to control the flow of water into your appliance.

Now that you are aware of some of the reasons behind a corroded valve, the next procedure should be getting rid of the corrosion.

What’s very fascinating and interesting about this procedure is that you don’t necessarily need to spend huge bucks to get it done.

Obviously, I was able to do this at home without even contacting my plumber.

In order to be certain of what you’re actually doing, touch the tip of your washing machine valves. You should see white or perhaps a green powdery substance on them.

Sometimes, it might seem rusted, stuck and hard to turn. Below are the procedures to follow carefully to remove the corrosion.

  1. Unplug the appliance from the power source.
  1. Get your materials ready (scouring pad, white vinegar, baking soda, towel).
  1. Apply vinegar and dust baking powder to the affected area.
  1. Let it sit for a while and clean with a scouring pad or brush.

This is basically the first procedure to take alongside temporarily cutting off the main water supply.

Literally, the materials we’re referring to here are what you need to remove the corrosion.

These include a scouring pad or a wire brush, white vinegar, baking soda, and a towel which might come in handy.

The next step is to pour a little amount of vinegar on the visible part of the valves where you notice the corrosion.

Experts advice is to submerge and soak the item in white vinegar and give it some time to work.

Since the valves currently can’t be removed and submerged, a good idea is to soak a cloth in vinegar and wrap it around the valve.

After a while, you can remove the wrap and scrub off the deposits of rust or corrosion with a scouring pad or a wire brush.

Tip: It’s best if soaked for at least a night for best and favorable results.

If there are still some signs of corrosion on the valves, another very useful method is to apply a bit of baking soda.

Ensure that it fully covers all affected areas, then wait for at least an hour before using a brush to scrub any deposits adhered to it.

Read also: why are brown flakes in your washing machine?

There’s still some quick fixes to do. Removing the corrosion is quite different from loosening the entire rusty washer valves.

Here are the specific procedures you need to take in order to loosen your tight and corroded washer valves.

  • Shut off the main water supply connection.
  • Apply penetrating oil to the valves.
  • Keep tapping with a tool or hammer.
  • Try twisting the valves.
  • Apply a form of heat.

Like I’ve always mentioned above, before carrying out any fixes on your appliances you need to disconnect both the power supply and water connections

Turn off the main water supply in order to avoid flooding your laundry room when you finally take off the valves.

Perhaps there is still some water remaining in the pipe, you can put a bucket directly under the valve to completely drain the water.

Penetrating oils easily helps to reduce the stiffness of items and is exactly what we need to do this correctly.

Ensure that you use a metal penetrating oil and not exactly a wood penetrating oil. (Don’t be confused here). Specifically, we recommend using a WD-40 industrial lubricant.

If you don’t have this lubricant at home, you can simply get one at any online or nearby stores around.

There are several other lubricants you can choose to use, so long as it’s strong enough to get rid and loosen the corrosion.

While applying a few drops of penetrating oil to the washing machine valve, remember to keep tapping it with a hammer.

You can tap the valve a little bit in order to enable deeper penetration of the lubricant.

Apply more oil and give it time to bulge depending on the degree of stiffness.

Attach one wrench to the valve and another on the tip, turn them against each other so as to remove the shut off valve.

Regarding the amount of time you give the penetrating oil to sink, you should apply some heat if it still won’t come loose.

Using a hair dryer is a good idea in situations like this. Just be careful if the lubricant or penetrating oil you applied is highly flammable.

You definitely wouldn’t want heat to come in contact with an oil like that. If a flammable lubricant is used, it’s better to clean it off the valve before applying a little bit of heat.

In a bid to avoid getting a constant recurrence of corroding washing machine valves, there are some preventive measures you can take.

  • Keep the metal valves corrosion-free by utilizing WD-40 multi-use-products.
  • Inspect the valves on a regular basis to check for leaks before it gets corroded.
  • Avoid constantly letting water get in contact with the metals.

The aforementioned tips would help prevent corrosion.

Sometimes, when a corroded washing machine valve fails to come off or even when it does, it frequently gets stuck, leaks or rusty.

The possible solution is to replace this part with a new one depending on the severity of the corrosion.

Follow the procedures below to replace your washing machine valve.

  • First and foremost, you must have disconnected the water supply to your washing machine.
  • Use a wrench to loosen the valves and remove them.
  • Now that you’ve gotten new valves, wrap a plumber or teflon tape around the thread or pitch of the washing machine water valves.
  • Attach the new valves to its space and ensure that it’s perfectly fitted.

The washing machine valve handle replacement is as easy as that. No complex steps are required.

I hope with this detailed guide you are able to find a perfect answer to your question.

Perhaps you are still experiencing issues with your corroded water valve washing machine, you should call a professional to have a look.

It gets a little bit tough the moment your ge dishwasher begins to malfunction and stop working. Are you experiencing a ge dishwasher beeps 3 times problem or the dishwasher keeps beeping and won’t start?

If you don’t know what to do in this situation, you should be confident that we’ll guide you through the most likely culprits and offer solutions to help you get your dishwasher back in working order.

The main reasons why your dishwasher won’t start but just beeps 3 times is because of a faulty lid lock system, the water supply line is not connected to the dishwasher, a malfunctioning electronic control panel and so much more.

Let’s take you through the proper troubleshooting and how to detect and fix each problem.

If you start your GE dishwasher and it fails to start but it keeps beeping three times consecutively, there are quite a few things you need to check and inspect. That’s exactly what we’ll be highlighting in this section.

One of the reasons why you might be experiencing this issue with your appliance is probably because there is a temporary glitch with some important component of the dishwasher.

  • It’s in demo mode – Chances are that your dishwasher might be in the demo mode and when it’s in this mode, most cycles won’t engage, it also won’t start or fill with water.
  • Control lock is activated – Ge dishwashers come with a control lock feature that lets you prevent someone from interrupting with the settings on the appliance. Your dishwasher might not start or change the cycle if the control lock is turned on.
  • Internal Glitches – Sometimes your ge dishwasher could start to malfunction due to internal glitches which is why it beeps 3 times and doesn’t start.

How To Fix

In order to exit the demo mode, perhaps it got activated on your appliance, all you need to do is press the “Start” and “Heated Dry” button simultaneously for 5 seconds.

If the control lock feature is activated, do this to deactivate it. Pess and hold the “Cycle Pad” or the “Dry/Dry Boost” and “Steam” simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds.

Kindly note that the buttons to press also depends on your model, do well to check the owner’s manual for yours.

Additionally, In order to fix the internal glitches issue, you have to perform a hard reset on the appliance and it’s really easy to do.

Firstly, you should turn off the dishwasher directly from its power source via the circuit breaker.

Wait for at least 5 minutes before switching on the circuit breaker. Then check if the issue is gone, if it’s still the same situation, try out the following fixes.

It’s also important to inspect the water supply system if it’s properly set. There are only two issues that are directly associated with the water supply problem.

  • Water supply is turned off – If the water supply to the dishwasher is turned off or it’s not able to reach the appliance, the dishwasher will beep three times and won’t start as a result.
  • Kinks or clogs in water supply valve – If there are blockages such as clogs or dirts in the water supply line, it could prevent the dishwasher from starting and keeps beeping.

Fix

Now, you need to check whether or not water supply is turned on to the appliance. If it isn’t, you just have to switch it back on.

Also inspect the water supply valve for kinks or clogs, ensure that you’ve straighten to lines are the valves are totally clean and free from clogs.

This is another very common cause of the issue you are currently experiencing with your dishwasher.

If there’s a problem with the door latch system, it might be preventing your dishwasher from starting and as a result beeping 3 times as a signal.

Here are the main issues that may be associated with the dishwasher door latch.

  • Door not closed properly – It’s important that the dishwasher door is closed properly in order for the appliance to work and for safety purposes. You need to ensure that the door is fully closed and latched securely.
  • Damaged door latch switch – This switch is the component that controls whether or not the door gets locked. It’s a very important component and if it develops a fault, it becomes useless and would affect the proper functioning of your dishwasher.

Fix

You need to initially check if the door lid latch switch is faulty or not. To do this, hold the “Cycle Select” and “Start” pads at the same time for about 5 seconds before closing the door.

Good: The LEDs will stay illuminated for 10 seconds which means the door lock has been detected.

Bad: The LEDs will only blink for 10 seconds which means that the control panel did not detect a door lock.

Depending on the results you get, you will need to order a new replacement part for the dishwasher latch assembly if it’s damaged.

Perhaps the above fixes don’t solve the beeping issue still, then you need to divert your attention to the electronic control panel. This is a component that manages and coordinates most of the dishwasher functionalities.

It’s possible that the control panel is malfunctioning which results in you not able to use your dishwasher.

How to fix

In situations like this, what you will be required to do is replace the entire component. Most GE dishwasher electronic control panels would cost you between $100 to $120 depending on where you are buying from.

You should only get the one that’s suitable with your model as unmatched panels won’t work for each other.

Before replacing the control panel, ensure that you’ve shut off both the water and power supply to the dishwasher.

If your ge dishwasher won’t start and it has power or lights, then this might be due to an active demo mode or the door is not latching properly as it should.

Ensure to check Delay Start to confirm that it isn’t turned on as it might prevent the appliance from starting.

Additionally, you also need to check the control lock feature whether it’s activated or not.

It’s a child lock feature that prevents the washer from turning on. You need to turn it OFF for your dishwasher to start working again.

Follow this procedures in order to reset your GE dishwasher control panel:

Press and hold the “Start” button for about five seconds until it begins to flash. Then, you’ll need to press and hold the “Start” and “Select Cycle” button down for another five seconds.

Expect the dishwasher control panel should now light up after this, that’s how you reset it.

Whether you’re a seasoned DIY enthusiast or just looking to save some money on a repair bill, we hope that our step-by-step guide above has helped you fix your ge dishwasher beeps 3 times problem.

It’s without a doubt an error if your dishwasher isn’t working and it keeps blinking the heavy light on the control panel.

Here is a quick solution:

Try unplugging and plugging the dishwasher from its power source. Check for water leak issues and some other possible plumbing issues. That’s the short answer to your problem. You need to keep on reading if you are looking for an extensive guide on how to thoroughly fix this problem yourself.

Depending on your samsung dishwasher model, the blinking heavy light might mean different things when flashing along with other LEDs.

Although, it’s totally normal for your dishwasher lights to blink during a cycle or while you’re tampering with the functions. It only becomes an issue when the appliance is affected and stopped from working.

In this article below, we’ll be highlighting the combinations of lights that blinks with heavy light if an issue is detected and their meanings.

In this section of the article, we’ll be highlighting what it means for the heavy to be flashing itself or along with some other lights.

When a combination of lights are blinking in this dishwasher, it definitely means an error has occurred somewhere..

Before we dive into details. Here is a quick overview of the lights that might blink along with the heavy light and the respective causes.

Note: If only the “Heavy” light is flashing and the dishwasher stops functioning, the issue is possibly associated with presence of moisture around the sensor or perhaps a faulty drainage system.

Blinking Lights (LEDs) Specific Causes
1 Heavy Light Only Drainage issues, sensor problems or presence of too much moisture internally.
2 Heavy + Auto Light Presence of too much water in the dishwasher.
3 Heavy + Delicate Light Malfunctioning of the internal heater of the dishwasher.
4 Heavy + Quick + Delicate Light The temperature sensor might be faulty. You might need to replace damaged components.
5 Heavy + Normal + Quick Light Lack of significant water present in the dishwasher.
6 Heavy + Express 60 Light Dishwashers refuse to heat due to damaged heating elements or other temperature-related problems.
7 Heavy + Normal + Express 60 Light The thermistor is faulty, malfunctioning or short circuited.
8 Heavy & Smart Auto Light Some parts of the drainage system might be damaged. Such as the valves, hose, drain impeller and pump motor.

Irrespective of the aforementioned lights that are flashing on your dishwasher, you can try all of the fixes below and check if this issue will be gone.

However, we can assure that the following fixes which have been highlighted for you in a step-by-step manner are all verified and tested.

With the help of the table highlighted above, you should be able to specify the actual light blinking along with the heavy light on your dishwasher.

This will ensure that you focus on the specific fixes due to the illustrated causes above. Regardless of that, you can attempt the following fixes we’ve compiled for you.

This is the first step you must take in order to avoid wasting your time and tampering with unnecessary fixes. The control panel of your samsung dishwasher could be malfunctioning which is why the heavy light combinations keep flashing.

Try resetting the dishwasher by turning it off at the circuit breaker or power source, then turning it back on after a few minutes.

If this doesn’t solve this issue, then you can go ahead with other fixes below.

Water supply is one of the main issues why your dishwasher keeps flashing the heavy light as this is mostly associated with the Heavy + Quick + Delicate and Heavy + Auto indicator LEDs.

a). Not enough water in the dishwasher: I hope you are aware that this issue is indicated by the (Heavy + Normal + Quick Lights). It usually occurs when there is extremely low water or your house’s water supply isn’t strong enough.

It could also be due to a clogged water inlet valve which has stored a lot of dirt and debris.

  • The solution to this is to inspect the water supply to your dishwasher and ensure that it’s turned on properly and delivering enough water into the appliance.
  • Due a partially opened water supply, your dishwasher tends to receive very little amount of water and this is why the indicator keeps flashing. When the flow of water is fully restored, it’s expected that your dishwasher gets back to work.

b). Too much water in the dishwasher:

According to the table above, this issue is associated with the following light combinations (Heavy + Auto).

Check if the pumps are correctly attached to the dishwasher. If it isn’t, there would be a restriction of what is definitely one of the causes of excessive water in the dishwasher.

  • Ensure that there are no signs of blockages in any of the hoses and pipes. If there are, flush them out by detaching the hose and properly removing them all.
  • If wastewater isn’t draining properly this will result in leaks and further possible damages.
  • It’s possible for the floater switch or water level switch to be malfunctioning. If this component is damaged, accurate reading of water level won’t occur which also leads to heavy light blinking.

The solution to this is to fix the faulty float switch or replace the entire component.

This is one of the numerous causes of the flashing light issues which is triggered if any parts of the drainage system is damaged, blocked or not properly connected.

What you need to do in this situation is to inspect all constituents of the dishwasher drainage system.

a). Check the drain hose for any blockages:

Kinks and dirt might have accumulated in the drain hose. What you are required to do is to make sure that there are no blockages then secure it properly to the dishwasher.

Next, check for any bends in the hose which might be preventing or restricting the free flow of water. Since the hose is very small, any bends or damage is enough to affect the drainage system.

b) Check the drain filter:

Drain-pump filters usually get clogged or torn on a regular basis due to the presence of suds, particles and other foreign materials.

Ensure that the drain filter is free from clogs and lints, take it out and wash carefully with clean water. Remove all the clogs you see before attaching it back.

These are part of the solutions to getting rid of the heavy light flashing.

Another recommended fix is to inspect the heating elements which includes the thermistor and sensor. Check if it isn’t functioning before finding a compatible replacement.

You might need the help of a professional technician in order to replace the thermistor and sensor.

What you have to do in this kind of situation is to find the source of the leaks.

However, when you find the source of the leaks, ensure that you clean it in addition to other wet areas around the appliance.

Next, you can reboot your dishwasher and expect the error to be cleared.

We hope that you are able to get a solution to the issue you are facing with your dishwasher.
